DCS General Contracting

DCS General Contracting and its owner, Damian Saracina, exhibit severe incompetence when it comes to effective communication and project planning. I had signed a contract with Damian on 1/30/2023 in Parma OH for installing a door and building a deck. However, due to their lack of knowledge and poor filing procedures with the Parma building department, it took three months to obtain the necessary permit, and only after I had personally contacted the department to follow up on their behalf. Once the permit was finally issued, I requested an amendment to the original contract to begin the work on 4/13 and complete it within 7 to 10 days. Damian confirmed the start time of 9 am on 4/13, but just 30 minutes before arriving at my home, he texted me to apologize that he would not be able to complete the project. This caused a four-month delay in the project, and now I have to search for a new contractor, making it clear that DCS General Contracting has shown incompetence in scheduling, planning, communicating, and finishing any projects. Therefore, I strongly advise against considering DCS General Contracting for any upcoming projects.

Even though it was a minor issue with my driveway, which I know many companies don't take up, I had a positive experience. The gentleman agreed to do the job within 24 hours of providing me with an estimate.

Our backsplash was installed by Anthony, who arrived on time, showed great courtesy and professionalism, and did an exceptional job! We are extremely satisfied with the final outcome and plan to hire DCS general contracting for future projects. We highly recommend their services.
