About
We offer live performances and one-on-one and group dance classes! My approach to dance instruction aims to work both inside out and outside in, through a combination of technical and somatic-based exercises tailored to each student's needs. With over 15 years of dance training and immersion, I have seen the joy that dance brings to our lives!Our classes include:
Belly Dance:
This low-impact dance is a great way to connect with your body. I began training in Salimpour-based belly dance technique at the age of 12 and by 15, I was part of a traveling dance troupe named Sattya. In 2018, I worked at the Los Angeles Belly Dance Academy and immersed myself in Egyptian style. I began teaching and performing with Stefanya at events and festivals in Southern California. Currently, we offer live classes in Ukiah. Contact us for more information.
Brazilian Zouk & Lambada:
I fell in love with Lambada and Brazilian Zouk in 2014 and have been exploring their depths ever since. I believe in understanding the roots of a dance and have trained with leading experts in the field. In 2019, I became certified as a Judge for the Brazilian Zouk Council and scored my first intermediate competition at Reno Latin Dance Fest. We offer online classes to cultivate versatile and connected dancers.
Salsa:
I began dancing salsa at the age of 12! We offer classes in rueda casino, on 1, and on 2!
