For a period of 8 years, my daughter received piano lessons from Elizabeth, who proved to be an exceptional teacher. Ms. Elizabeth Churchya, fondly known as Miss Lisa, had been my son's piano instructor from the tender age of 6 until 14. Under her tutelage, my son Mark had an exhilarating learning experience, mastering various theoretical and technical concepts. With her expert guidance, he excelled at playing both classical and contemporary pieces. During the golden years between his 8th to 10th birthdays, he was so captivated by the piano that he would practice round the clock. As a testimony to Elizabeth's exceptional coaching, Mark earned RCM Piano Level 5 certification. Despite his increasing penchant for violin, he was selected for the South Carolina All-State Orchestra, which owed much of its success to the profound musical knowledge he gained from his beloved piano teacher.

Elizabeth is not only an exceptional educator, but also a remarkable role model for her pupils. Our daughter was fortunate enough to have her as a teacher for several years, and held her in high esteem. Elizabeth acted as her teacher, mentor, and even a nurturing sibling figure. She fostered our daughter's development as a talented pianist, boosted her self-assurance for faultless recitals, and helped her achieve top-notch scores on national exams.
