After my father, Andrew Carrera, founder of Carrera Custom Homes, Inc., passed away in January of 2019, I became the President of the company. Prior to this, I had served as a veteran for twenty years, most recently at United States Northern Command & NORAD, where I planned and executed the Vigilant Guard Joint Regional Exercise Program. The purpose of this program was to assess the preparedness and capability of National Guard personnel and plans in joint civil-military response to Homeland Security/Homeland Defense incidents. My experience in strategic planning, scheduling, and budgeting has provided me with great preparation for my new role, and my leadership and planning skills add great value to clients and projects. Additionally, I prioritize building relationships, not just completing projects.
