Haekyung Ju

Having played the violin for 18 years, Haekyung Ju started her classical music journey at the age of 9 in South Korea. She received her education from Art middle and high school - institutions which provided specialized training in private lessons, music theory, orchestra and chamber music. During this time, she won several competitions and had the opportunity to perform as a soloist with numerous orchestras both in and out of school. She also invested her musical depth in chamber music and participated in non-profit organization chamber music series concerts, collaborating with top musicians in South Korea. Haekyung Ju extended her contributions to the community by offering music lessons to students of all levels, including beginners, advanced learners, and professionals who sought to excel in competitions or auditions.

As an instructor, Haekyung Ju often motivates her students to find their unique musical voice and encourages them to think outside the box. She emphasizes that this approach allows music to be enjoyed to the fullest while playing beautifully, as evidenced by some of her students who have developed their own ways of making music. Haekyung Ju has a B.M degree from the New England Conservatory and is currently pursuing a master's degree in violin performance at the same institution. Having taught for several years, she has helped many students gain admissions to pre-college schools, orchestras, and summer festivals.
