Greetings, my name is Val. I was promoted to a leadership position without any proper training which led to difficulties with my team's performance, behavior, and morality. However, I was determined not to fail and decided to immerse myself in various educational resources such as books, earning an MBA degree, and obtaining coaching and organizational culture certification. Through this, I acquired knowledge on what motivates people internally and leveraged that to turnaround my struggling team.Having left my corporate job, I established Executive Muse with the goal of providing leadership training to both small and large companies including prominent organizations like Citrix, Facebook, and Gonzaga University. My mission is to assist others in creating a highly engaged workforce.
I intend to achieve this through various means including public speaking, personal coaching, online courses, and my recent publication, "Chief Inspiration Officer: How to Lead the Team Everyone wants to be on". With these resources, I hope to guide you towards the development of a thriving work culture.
