As a highly energetic pianist, I have been teaching students of all ages and abilities for several years. My approach to teaching involves creating a comfortable atmosphere that helps to establish a strong relationship with each student. I focus on a well-balanced approach to all facets of music, striving to improve the student's technical and pedagogical skills in order to enhance their overall musical experience.

In addition, I take pride in my unique role, which enables me to provide students with insight and tutelage passed down from previous teachers, while still allowing them to express their own musical thoughts and ideas. With a doctorate in piano performance and a secondary emphasis in theory, I possess a thorough overall knowledge of all genres of music.

I find it extremely rewarding to witness the growth of each student with every lesson. My teaching style involves assigning a variety of repertoire, tailored to the student's individual skill level. I balance lyrical selections with exercises and 'etude-like' pieces that emphasize finger dexterity mastery. Furthermore, I take satisfaction in helping students to develop their communication and emotional skills by providing them with opportunities to perform in recital settings if the opportunity presents itself.
