Modern Tile Installations deserves two enthusiastic thumbs up! I recently underwent a kitchen renovation and removed the old kitchen floor down to the joists. Thiago and his team then built up from there by installing wall-to-wall subfloor and tile. I couldn't be happier with the results and will definitely be calling them again for my bathroom floors. Although I researched and read Thiago's glowing ratings and testimonials, I must confess I was still apprehensive about the new kitchen tile being level with the pre-existing hardwood floors in the house. However, Thiago's workmanship was impeccable, resulting in a seamless finish without any uneven transitions or awkward transitions strips. Furthermore, after the tile installation, I went ahead and installed kitchen cabinets and appliances on top of the tile flooring. To my delight, everything lined up perfectly. Given the diagonal-planked subfloor with numerous knots and holes, I had to carry out an extensive floor demolition to bring everything down to floor joists for a new subfloor to be installed. As seen in the photos, my porcelain Daltile Astronomy Nebula tiles measure 12"x24". Although some finish carpentry such as baseboards and door casings are still outstanding, this does not take anything away from Modern Tile Installations exceptional work.

We are more than pleased with Modern Tile’s service, and we have recommended them to our acquaintances already. They rank among the best in our contractor experience, having built three homes and a business. We only wish that the pictures we attach could do justice to the beauty of their work in person!
