Hailing from Sunnyvale, CA, Patrick Talesfore, Jr. is a skilled drum set artist who has received high praise from master drummer Kenwood Dennard. Dennard describes Patrick's playing as "cognizant, deliberate, musical...like facing a life or death moment. Passion personified." Patrick has played solo and with numerous bands and artists, including Cerce, Space Devil Rest in Peace, and Nishad George, among others. He has studied under esteemed teachers such as Tony "Thunders" Smith and Kenwood Dennard, and has been teaching drum lessons since 2010, traveling to various cities across the United States.Patrick's students have achieved great success in music, with some starting their own bands, publishing their own music, and even studying at prestigious institutions such as Berklee College of Music. Patrick endorses various drum equipment brands including Big Fat Snare Drum, 247drums, and exclusively uses Paiste Cymbals, Vic Firth Sticks, Remo Drumheads, and SKB Cases. Currently, Patrick teaches at NorCal Music & Arts Center as well as at his residence in Sunnyvale, helping his students live musically enriched lives playing for themselves and their community.

Prior to meeting Patrick, I had no prior experience with drumming. However, under his tutelage, I was able to learn and develop the skills required to play drums. Not only was Patrick incredibly patient with me, but his teaching skills were also phenomenal! He provided me with exercises to practice at home, while also motivating me to explore my creativity by writing my own music. Thanks to Patrick, I now have a profound understanding of drumming and respect for this amazing craft!

It's impossible to fully capture Patrick's skills through words alone. Finding a drum teacher who could push my experienced daughter to new heights was a challenge, but Patrick surpassed all expectations. He's not only an incredibly talented and professional musician, but also an enthusiastic and creative teacher who truly connects with his students. We're incredibly grateful to have him as our daughter's mentor and drum teacher.
