Our contractor bailed on us not once, but twice - first on Monday evening, and then again on Tuesday afternoon. Though he had quoted us a reasonable $45 for the job last week, he ended up demanding $145 once it was completed. Apparently, he had taken three hours to pick up Home Depot orders twice due to not thoroughly reading my instructions. Reluctantly, I paid him what he asked for, but I have decided that I will not be using his services again in the future.
