Do you find yourself struggling with anxiety and depression, experiencing difficulties in your relationships, or trying to heal from a traumatic loss? Are you concerned about your child's stress, bullying, or anxiety at school? Do you desire to shift your mindset and behavioral patterns or improve your communication skills with others, including family members?Allow me to guide you through learning skills that no one has ever taught you before, to let go of resentment, judgment, and anger from the past. My 35 years of experience as a psychotherapist will provide you with the tools needed to move towards the happiness and success you desire and deserve.
During our sessions through Zoom or by phone, I utilize various counseling techniques, combined with "homework" in-between sessions, to ensure you are consistently moving towards your desired goals. I empathize with your emotional, physical, spiritual, and intellectual challenges, having had personal experience in areas such as the death of loved ones, health problems, job losses, relationship issues, financial hardships, and difficulties raising children.
Additionally, my podcast, with a listenership of over 3,000, provides a valuable resource to my clients by connecting them with other professionals to help obtain a healthier mind and body balance in their lives.
Though I do not accept insurance, I'm willing to work with you on a discounted rate for multiple sessions, and I offer a military discount.

Lucy proved to be an exceptional counselor. My objective was to seek a conventional counselor who could guide me through the process of healing my past traumas and coping with the grief of losing my spouse, ultimately propelling me forward in life. Together, we cooperated for four to five months, and although I wasn't able to reach my desired outcome of sorting out my job and living situation, I did make immense progress in restoring balance in my life overall. Every two months, I was able to make considerable strides in confronting the past, conquering my fears, and setting healthy boundaries while learning effective problem-solving skills. I also acquired the tools to venture out into the real world autonomously, while simultaneously building my self-confidence and resilience. I am optimistic that with the newfound strength and confidence I possess, success in all areas of my life can be achieved.

In one of the most challenging periods of my life, Dr. Forsting provided invaluable support. She is an attentive listener who takes note of every tiny detail and provides guidance that is practical rather than merely comforting.

Lucy has been incredibly beneficial to me. Her guidance helped me to gain a broader understanding of my purpose. Our discussion resembled two good friends who meet regularly, supplemented by some intentional self-reflection on my part. I look forward to scheduling another appointment with her. Thank you so much, Lucy!
