About
I'm Stacey Stovall, the lead behavior trainer at Buddy's Dog School, and I've dedicated 18 years to training dogs of all ages, breeds, and backgrounds. I possess the know-how, experience, and resources necessary to provide the best solution for any issue.

Simplified Training
At our school, we follow a simplified, highly effective approach to behavior training. Our methods do not involve the use of treats or bribery, and they help your dog become obedient and well-behaved. More importantly, we enable you, the pet owner, to become the leader of your household. Using simple yet potent training techniques, your dog will quickly learn to repeat desired actions and eliminate unwanted actions.

We offer a variety of training programs that cater to the needs of everyone. Despite the program you choose, you will participate significantly in the training procedure to guarantee long-lasting outcomes. Our training support is lifelong, and you can earn various rewards after completing a program, including access to exclusive boarding for your trained pooch and other dogs inhabiting your abode.

My passion for behavior training is genuine, and nothing excites me more than helping dog owners achieve their dream of having a well-behaved pet. I find it particularly satisfying to assist those who seem to have tried everything unsuccessfully. I take great pleasure in watching pet owners have fun with their furry companions.

My puppy received exceptional care from Stacey! During the three weeks that she had my pup, she established a solid foundation for future training. Stacey was highly professional, had great communication skills, and was a delight to work with. Throughout the training process, she gave me regular updates on my pup's progress and was always happy to answer any questions I had. Before beginning the boarding, Stacey met with me and my pup face-to-face to discuss my primary concerns and training goals, creating a custom plan that worked for us both. I appreciated that the training took place in Stacey's home, which provided a comfortable and home-like environment. Additionally, she only boards two dogs at a time to ensure adequate care and attention. Upon returning my pup, Stacey spent well over two hours reviewing all of the training tips, commands, and rules that she had implemented. We then practiced in a public area to test my pup's obedience and to aid in training me for handling my pup in a new environment. We also covered basic household manners during the training. I would wholeheartedly recommend Stacey and her services; her expertise and skills were well worth the investment.

Working with Stacey is an astounding experience! She tailors the training to your pace and focuses on educating both you and your dog, making sure that you can sustain success beyond the training. My adopted Doberman had developed a more reactive behavior towards other leashed dogs, but after just six sessions, he has shown remarkable improvement. With Stacey's guidance, my dog peacefully walks alongside other dogs and performs basic commands even when surrounded by them. I highly endorse her services!

We left our six-week old German Shepherd puppy under Stacey Stovall's care opting for the board and train package. Before enrolling our puppy, we visited Stacey's facility, where she patiently explained the program and addressed all our concerns. Stacey is a highly competent and personable trainer, and we were pleased with the updates she sent throughout our puppy's three-week boarding period. Upon receiving our well-trained puppy back, Stacey spent two hours demonstrating his skills and teaching us how to reinforce his obedience. Even after we left the facility, Stacey remained supportive, coming back two weeks later to fix any issues we were having. Her effective methods, secure facility, and genuine concern make Buddy's Dog School the best option for anyone in search of professional dog training. We wholeheartedly recommend Stacey to those who want to give their puppy the best learning experience possible. Give her a call; you won't regret it.

Our Welsh corgi puppy, Cashew, has earned the infamous title of "The Destroyer of Slippers". We welcomed him into our family when he was only 10 weeks old, and despite his cuteness, he proved to be quite the naughty pup. Cashew had a few behavioral issues that we struggled with, including nipping at us, trying to herd us, grabbing and chewing on our slippers, refusing to walk on a leash, going after every dog and human in sight, and even pooping on our living room rug. Despite his troubles, we knew that Cashew was a smart pup and decided to enroll him in Buddy's Dog School with Stacey for a 2-week training session. We were impressed with the training methods Stacey used, which involved classical conditioning to lay a strong foundation for Cashew to understand what is wrong and what we want from him. Within the two weeks, Stacey taught Cashew to calmly walk on a leash, come to a stop when we stop, stay seated or laying down, be directed and calmed down in distracting environments, and respond to various commands. Cashew's behavior changes were based on positive feedback and gentle negative feedback that we can easily replicate at home. Now, over a month since his training, Cashew has retained most of what he's learned. He's older, calmer, and knows all of his commands. We rarely have to correct him on walks, and the staff at his daycare always comment on how well-behaved he is. We are extremely happy with Cashew's progress, and our slippers can finally rest in peace.
