Above the trim

Although it pains me to do so, I must deliver a negative appraisal. I solicited Richard from Above the Trim to assess my property for cosmetic repairs. His attendance fee was $40, an amount I deemed reasonable given that it would be credited towards the final invoice. In anticipation of receiving an estimate or proposal within the agreed timeframe of a few days, I remitted the fee. However, over a week has passed since we toured the premises, and I have yet to receive any correspondence regarding the scope of work or costs involved. To my disappointment, I have found this organization to be unprofessional, and I am relieved to have not proceeded further with them. My suspicion is that they took advantage of me and had no intention of following through. I strongly warn others to be wary and not be tempted by their lower rates.
