As a portrait photographer, my name is Drake A. Curtis. My Canon camera is a tool through which I capture breathtaking images of individuals. Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, I spent my early years on stage with the Nia Dance Troupe. My passion for photography developed during my travels around the world, and now I call Long Beach, California my home. My aim is to portray people in all their glory - their beauty, poise, vigor, spirit, and uniqueness. By merging outfits with context, my photographs narrate a tale and become timeless keepsakes. Creativity is key, and I relish the process of originating novel ideas. I mainly operate in Long Beach, CA, but have snapped photographs across the planet, from London to Amsterdam, from Australia to beyond. Working in close collaboration with SomethingBySonjia, RockNRemix, and MoreMarvelous, I also specialize in fashion and jewelry imagery.

My experience with Drake was absolutely amazing! My daughter, who was the star of the photo shoot, loved it as well. It was her first professional photo shoot ever, and she felt so special and beautiful. Drake's quick sneak peeks of the shots boosted her confidence tremendously.
Drake was not only incredibly professional, but he also knew exactly how to make my daughter feel comfortable during the shoot and effortlessly bring out her beautiful smile. All of the shots and the editing were top-notch - I was thoroughly impressed! Overall, Drake was excellent!

My time at the photoshoot with Drake was fantastic. He had excellent energy right from the beginning and was straightforward to collaborate with, making me feel at ease and relaxed. Based on the ambiance I was aiming for, he had wonderful suggestions for locations, and he had an excellent sense of style for selecting outfits that aligned with the setting/backdrop. The photographs turned out just the way I wanted, if not better. We had so many brilliant shots to choose from, making it difficult to select a few favorites. Overall, it was an enjoyable and seamless experience, from beginning to end. Therefore, I highly recommend Drake for your next photo shoot.
