Idan Med Spa

Idan is absolutely passionate about his job, evident in his command and enthusiasm for what he does. I personally had several treatments with him including microdermabrasion, chemical peels and back exfoliation and they were all exceptionally outstanding!

After moving to this area from LA, I've visited numerous spas, but I've finally discovered the ideal spot for me! Idan's expertise and professionalism made me feel at ease. I will undoubtedly return.

Unfortunately, my experience was not great. It seemed as though the esthetician was simply going through a prescribed list of products and methods. When I mentioned that my face was extremely sensitive to peels and had dry patches, he dismissed my concerns and insisted that he knew better than me. He then applied salicylic acid, which was still too harsh for my skin, despite my attempts to communicate this to him. This caused a painful burning sensation, but he quickly removed it and finished with a drying clay mask. He also suggested that leaving the salicylic acid on for longer would have helped with my pigmentation. The result was dry skin, the return of my dry patches, and inflammation in the areas where he had extracted blemishes. Though he does seem to want his clients to be happy, my skin's thin and sensitive nature did not respond well to his "expensive" treatment. I will wait to see my holistic aesthetician next time.
