Thank you for your interest in golf instruction! I have been teaching for more than 30 years, working with both juniors and adults at all levels of experience, from beginners to advanced players. As a certified Operation 36 instructor, I believe that communication is key to success. My approach is to start with an analysis of your swing, and then work with you to develop a plan to achieve your goals. If you're just getting started, we will create a structured program to help you quickly excel at this great game. Throughout our sessions, I will provide video analysis of your swing, as well as drills to practice. I have been an avid golfer for more than four decades. Recently, I found myself struggling with several swing habits that were hindering my ability to enjoy the game. Despite watching self-help videos, I couldn't improve, which led me to seek assistance from Gordie. My time with Gordie was invaluable! He analyzed my swing through observation and video, identified my primary issue (a closed club face at the address and the top of my swing), and provided me with drills to address it. I am staying in the Valley for five weeks and considering Gordie as my Swing Coach for future visits. He has a fantastic coaching style, and I felt comfortable throughout the sessions. Gordie's lesson was fantastic! He kept the teachings simple, assigning drills and a swing template on which to focus and improve. After a single session, my swing underwent a marked improvement and felt more organic. Gordie also filmed my swing, allowing for a thorough evaluation of any errors. I have had the opportunity to learn from Gordie in two sessions and I have already scheduled a third one.
