As a sophomore, I must confess that the beginning was quite challenging. As a freshman last year, algebra and math, in general, were not my forte. The frustration I felt was profound. It got to a point where I was disappointed with myself for being unable to comprehend the subject matter. Initially, I was uncertain about getting a math tutor. The thought of it not being helpful, or worst still, leaving me stranded was unsettling. However, after meeting with Laila, my perspective changed. We started with the basics, and although I felt embarrassed at first, it was worth it. Laila was patient, friendly, kind-hearted, and attentive.
