Pros: The quality of work done appears to be of high standard. We added a Pergola and extended our porch with a Trex Deck, both of which look aesthetically pleasing.
Cons: During the process, the contractors informed us that the price of wood had increased which would have resulted in a $600 increase in the initial bid, even though the contract stated that the estimate was valid for 30 days, and we approved it within that timeframe. They did eventually honor the original bid, though. Moreover, we were not provided the renderings in time for us to submit them to HOA, which resulted in a delayed start. Finally, the completion of the job and the post-work clean-up was not satisfactory, with too much debris left in the grass, and subsequently, it has affected our sprinkler system. Although this may be a communication problem, we believed it was part of the original bid.
