Beginning their work in mid-January during below-freezing temperatures and single-digit weather, the 2-man crew became a topic of conversation among friends and neighbors who marveled at their commitment to showing up every day despite the harsh conditions. Throughout the project, progress remained consistent, with on-site foreman Kevin providing daily updates on any potential setbacks such as rotted wood or animal nests. Owner Brian also kept in touch via email, keeping us abreast of overall progress and next steps as needed. Due to the challenges of winter in New England - including nine snowfalls in just 18 days - the job ultimately took longer than expected, but my wife and I are nonetheless thrilled with the end results. We fully intend to contact Thistle Construction next January for bids on a master bathroom and 2nd floor bathroom remodeling project - interior work which we believe they will excel at.
