About
Hello there! My name is Laurie and I have a passion for caring for pets. It's quite surprising how much I've grown to adore spending time with animals, particularly those who are new to the pet world - like chickens, for example. As long as I receive proper guidance, I am more than happy to take on any new pets.Over the past 40 years, I have owned both cats and dogs. Additionally, I've been tending to the pets of family and friends for at least 15 years and have been an official pet-sitter for over 4 years now.
In my free time, I volunteer at an animal rescue center where I have been caring for cats and kittens for over 4 years. I foster, administer medication, feed, clean, and help socialize them. I am also responsible for capturing, transferring them for neutering or spaying, and then releasing them back again.
After spending 35 years in the IT industry, spending time with loving animals is truly a delight. I hope to speak to you soon about how I can assist in caring for your furry friends!

Our three dogs include one who is handicapped, and we have never entrusted their care to anyone outside of our immediate family. Although we were apprehensive about leaving them, we felt reassured after observing Laurie's attentiveness and affection toward our pets. She is incredibly caring, professional, flexible, and knowledgeable. Throughout our time away, she kept us informed with daily updates and regular photo communications. Our furry companions were in excellent hands. We highly recommend Laurie to anyone in search of a reliable and trustworthy dog sitter.

Laurie has taken care of my pets twice and I must say, my four dogs and three cats absolutely adore her! She has done an excellent job in looking after them; hence, when I leave them in her care, I feel secure and confident that they will receive proper attention. Laurie can be relied on to respond promptly and sends photos, videos, and updates regularly. Additionally, her pricing is quite reasonable, thus making her services all the more appealing.
