Approaching each client with an open mind and heart, my priority is always to remain flexible and attentive to their needs. With over ten years of experience, I provide instruction in drums and percussion, piano, voice, music theory, creative process, and general musical fluency in various genres and settings. Beyond sharing my expertise as a professional drummer, songwriter, keyboardist, lyricist, producer, and vocalist, I also impart knowledge in music business, crowdsourcing, band leading, creative process, and improvisation. Balancing technique and fundamentals with the spirit of exploration, my aim is to make lessons and collaborations both productive and enjoyable.

Having worked in multiple countries and contributed to countless musical projects, collaboration is my passion. Julian has introduced me to a whole new world of Jazz drumming! If it weren't for him, I would have never learned how to play salsa music or master the 3/2, 2/3, and rumba clave. Not only is he incredibly skilled, but he is also a genuinely nice person, making every lesson an enjoyable experience. Initially, I considered another drum teacher recommended by a friend from school, but after my first lesson with Julian, it was clear that he was the perfect fit for me.
