Ricky Delgado

Ricardo Delgado, also known as Ricky, has spent his entire life in the Tampa Bay area. Growing up in Tampa, he developed a passion for music and became a multi-instrumentalist. He learned to play the guitar, drums, mallet keyboards, bass, ukulele, and piano, studying various forms of music such as classical, ragtime, pop, Latin, Broadway-style, and jazz. His expertise in music theory and composition is vast. For over eight years, Ricky has been teaching students of all ages, from four-year-olds to adults in their 70s. He takes pleasure in sharing his passion for music and inspiring others. Presently, he serves as the Music Director at Cypress Creek Church in Lutz, FL, and has performed with numerous ensembles, bands, and competitions.

Ricky's primary goal as a music instructor is to make learning the piano, guitar, ukulele, and drums enjoyable and exciting, just as it was for him when he learned. He aims to pass on his love for playing the piano to the younger generation of musicians, which is his main passion. He credits his grandmother for pushing him to play the piano when he was younger and helping him develop into the passionate pianist he is today.
