Journey Michna Painting

My experience as a painter spans for 25 years. I embarked on this journey right after completing high school, joining my friend's dad's company, where we painted newly constructed homes in Placerville, CA. Later, I relocated to the valley and obtained my contractor's license in 1996. Over the years, I have maintained a small business that relies on word-of-mouth to acquire clients. This approach has allowed me to supervise every project personally and ensure they are executed to perfection.

I am not one to shy away from prep work. As far as I am concerned, it forms the foundation of any painting project. Prioritizing prep work ensures that the surface to be painted is cleaned, sanded, or primed, creating an ideal base for the paint to adhere to. My expertise extends to full interior and exterior painting, including cabinet painting, trimming, door painting, popcorn ceiling removal, patchwork, and light texture. I also handle deck, arbor, patio, and fence painting and staining.

I take pride in restoring houses that are in dire need of improvement because the before-and-after transformation is quite impressive. Although I enjoy all aspects of painting, I have a soft spot for sprucing up kitchen cabinets. Repainting exteriors also brings me immense joy, especially when I see the same house looking just as beautiful years after I worked on it. Knowing that I contributed to the timeless appeal of these properties is the ultimate reward.
