I am an approved Humanist Celebrant by the American Humanist Society, allowing me to perform secular ceremonies in all 50 states. My services range from weddings, engagements, elopements, vow renewals, and unions. However, I exclusively provide officiant services for individuals who want non-religious ceremonies without any prayer or reference to God. If your event indicates a religious affiliation, I will promptly decline unless you instruct otherwise. I am available to travel within a 60-mile range of Durham.

My services extend to both intimate living room ceremonies or grand traditional weddings in event venues. As a licensed clinical psychologist, experienced public speaker, and professional writer, I will ensure your ceremony reflects your personalities and values. I am dedicated to diversity and inclusion and accept all types of unions. My fees start at $300 for standard ceremonies, $175 for rehearsal attendance, and an additional $250 for a fully customized ceremony. I also provide expert pre-marital counseling to guarantee your union starts off on the right foot.

Being an officiant brings me so much joy as I get to interact with incredible couples on one of their most memorable days. As a psychologist, most of my regular work involves aiding those in tough circumstances, so officiating provides the perfect balance in my professional life. As a secular officiant who values diversity and inclusivity, it's rewarding to integrate some of my personal values into work life.
