Achievement in learning, performing, and reading music are available to piano and flute students. The opportunity to excel in festivals, competitions, achievements, and auditions is given with an all inclusive and personalized approach to music. Whether beginners or advanced, students are welcomed to enroll and are invited to experience this immersive lesson. I am a music graduate with the ability to provide referrals as necessary.

Frequent performances are held with the West Michigan Flute Orchestra and the Great Lakes Flute Ensemble. Having degrees in music performance allows me to participate as the pianist for St. John Lutheran Church located in Jenison, as well as work as an accompanist in the West Michigan area. Ensuring continued success and development, I engage with multiple organizations including but not limited to the Music Teachers National Association, the Michigan Music Teachers Association, the National Flute Association, and the Piano Teachers Forum of Grand Rapids. The involvement offers exposure to new educational opportunities, music, methods, festivals and competitions.

Most of my students participate in music education through the Grand Rapids Musicians League, the Federation Festival and Student Achievement program through outreach recitals for Nursing and Retirement Homes, and at club meetups earning Piano students of all levels a chance to be accepted. With this array of experience, adult learners especially are welcomed with open arms!

I facilitate music lessons for all ages! My studio is located in Kentwood area, where I only teach on weekdays Monday through Thursday. Membership in the Allegros of the GR Musicians League enables me to serve as the coordinator of music clubs, which then provides me the opportunity to work with new people and learners of every kind.

For reference and information, my fees are $25.00 for beginners (for half hour lessons), $35 for proceeding 45 minutes, and $45 per hour lesson. I am a dedicated musician who loves to work with vibrant and diverse students.
