My time with the Arthur Murray team has been nothing short of enjoyable. Initially, I was inept at dancing, however, through their tutelage, I have gained confidence and am now competent at performing six ballroom dances, with two more in the works. The experience has been stimulating, fulfilling, cathartic, and most importantly, fun. The team at Arthur Murray comprises of exceptional individuals and professionals who know how to teach dance.

The Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Winter Park has been a wonderful experience for my husband and me. As retirees in our late 60s, we decided to cross "learning the tango" off our bucket list before a trip to Argentina. Although I love to dance and my husband didn't, we were fortunate to be introduced to Frankie as our instructor. After eight months of dedication and hard work, we successfully danced the Argentine tango across multiple cities in Argentina. However, our return home coincided with the pandemic, and we had to pause our dancing journey until everyone started getting vaccinated. Fortunately, we recently resumed dancing at the studio and even showcased our newfound skills in the Rhumba. Now, as first level dancers in various types of dance, we are excited to show off our moves at our niece's upcoming wedding. Although learning the Argentine tango was challenging, it has made the other dances we've learned seem much easier. My husband has fully embraced dancing as our new lifelong activity. We are grateful for the support and guidance of our fantastic instructors, Frankie and Steven, and Karla at the front desk.

have been taking dance lessons with Arthur Murray Winter Park since January 2020. My instructor, Leroy, introduced me to various dance styles in both smooth and rhythm categories, and as my skills progressed, I requested to dance with Frankie for my smooth lessons. The staff has been accommodating in customizing my lessons to my pace and interests. In addition to personalized lessons, the studio offers group classes for different skill levels and open classes for everyone. These sessions help in mastering syllabus moves and improve one's ability to lead and follow with other dancers. Friday night is a party where students dance with each other and the teachers, including those not assigned to them. This helps to build confidence and performance skills. Many times, couples preparing for their weddings perform for everyone at these evenings, which is a great way to ease the performance jitters. Additionally, I have participated in competitions with students from other studios. The studio owner, Stephen, ensures that these events are of the highest quality, and everyone from the studio supports and helps each other throughout the competition. Arthur Murray Winter Park is like a family, and they consistently perform exceptionally well in these competitions. Dancing at the studio with my husband is always a blast. It's exhilarating to explore new dance styles and master new moves. Moreover, it's an excellent way to maintain mental acuity and improve balance. Our dance instructor is equally delightful company, and we always have a good time laughing and cherishing each other's company.
