Despite multiple requests to discuss the matter over the phone, the individual refused to initiate the call and instead requested proof of funds via email. Our sole request was for a CMA in exchange for providing them with the listing. Unfortunately, we were unable to make any progress. Upon reflection, it became apparent that the other party was seeking both proof of funds and an agreement to be their buyers agent. Our only interest was in obtaining a quick CMA, which takes just five minutes, and establishing an ongoing business relationship with frequent listings. A phone call may have been helpful, but the individual spoke to us disrespectfully and made for an overall unpleasant experience.
