I am thoroughly pleased with Murillo Construction Homes' work on my house. The quality of their work is excellent, and they were friendly and efficient. The project began on a positive note, but ended on a negative one due to the lack of responsiveness and professionalism from Murillo Construction. I hired them to repair storm damage to my home, with the owner being my main point of contact. They had to come out multiple times to fix a window leak, which they seemed to have resolved. The replacement of my porch ceiling took longer than expected due to unforeseen issues, such as rotting wood and the contractor purchasing the wrong materials. Although the owner initially seemed honest and willing to work with me, the quality and cleanliness of the work did not meet my expectations, and they failed to follow through on commitments. Customer service is important to me, and unfortunately, Murillo Construction did not provide it. When I tried to address these issues with the owner, they were unresponsive for over a week. The job execution was messy, resulting in chipped wood and stripped paint, and equipment was left on my porch for days. The owner committed to sending me a detailed invoice/estimate for insurance, but has not sent it despite promising to do so multiple times. This has held me back from reimbursement and potentially moving forward with a case. Despite their personable and cool demeanor, I was disappointed with their inaction and would not use them for future projects.
