Last week, we experienced a flood that affected every level of our home, starting from the third floor and trickling down to the basement. In our search for a solution, we came across a local company with a highly rated reputation. After contacting them, they arrived within an hour and conducted a thorough inspection of the damage. Much to our surprise, the extent of the damage was much worse than we had anticipated, and we had no idea what to do. As someone who had never experienced a flood at home, I thought simply mopping up the water would suffice, but that wasn't the case. The professional team brought in numerous pieces of drying equipment and quickly dried everything out, eliminating any chances of mold growth. Although they did have to remove some elements such as my vanity and trim to access the trapped water, I could easily fix that myself. What's more, my insurance coverage will be able to cover all the costs, and the people at the company were sincerely nicest people ever to deal with. I had frequent conversations with Steve, but Nick and John were mostly present in my home, and they all displayed utmost professionalism. Although the overall experience was unpleasant, their efforts and care made the situation much more bearable for us.

Merry Maids declined to take on the job, while Servpro insisted on charging $5 per square foot for disinfecting. Given that I have six stores and that all businesses are shut down currently, such costs would be financially ruinous. While I acknowledge the severity of the situation, that price was simply outrageous. Thankfully, this other company was willing to offer rates at $1.50 per square foot, which is considerably more reasonable. While they were a little tardy, they arrived with enough staff and supplies to efficiently tackle our first location. We've scheduled them to complete the rest during the coming week, and we can't wait to reopen once the virus has subsided.

Two weeks back, our property suffered damage due to the storm. However, the response from the professionals was prompt. They placed tarps on our roof and dehumidified our residence.
