At first, we were thrilled with the services provided by Carlos and Mondragon Concrete. Carlos was incredibly patient with our numerous changes and even gave us useful suggestions. The total for the extensive work we had done came out to $12,000. Their crew was friendly and toiled diligently despite the sweltering heat. Plus, they left everything spotless after the job was complete. Unfortunately, a few things required correcting after the work was done, so I reached out to Carlos. He assured me that he would be on-site that following Monday. However, the Monday in question came and went without any sign of Carlos. I even followed up again, but received no response. We were originally hoping to use them again when we eventually needed to redo our driveway, but due to the substandard follow-up, we may have to think twice.

In December 2020, our project was initiated by Carlos, who completed a substantial driveway and new walkways using regular concrete and stamped and colored concrete, respectively. Sadly, when his brother-in-law finished the brick stairs, the walkway failed to line up with the stairs, being about 7 inches short horizontally and 5 inches too low vertically. Mondragon has failed to address this issue, raising doubts about whether we paid him too much. Regrettably, we now have a $30,000 project that is unusable, and Carlos appears to have lost interest in resolving the issue, making empty promises of fixing the problem "next week" for two months. Furthermore, they stained the unstained concrete and left it unfinished despite Carlos' assurances of cleanup. Be cautious before buying. If we had known about his dishonest business practices beforehand, we would never have done business with him.

My spouse and I recently had a 31-foot concrete driveway constructed for our RV, and Carlos exceeded our expectations. His work was exceptional, and we were impressed with his professionalism throughout the project. He was always respectful, communicated updates effectively, and reliably completed his tasks. Sadly, we had dealt with three other contractors for various projects this year, all of whom were unresponsive and delayed projects. Carlos was a breath of fresh air and eagerly completed the job with great passion and expertise.
