About
As a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) accredited by the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers, a Mentor Trainer affiliated with Animal Behavior College, and a volunteer Dog Trainer at the Animal Care Centers of New York, I offer tailored dog training services and behavior management. I primarily use positive reinforcement and coercion-free methods, which can be conducted at home or remotely via live video calls.My training programs mainly focus on teaching Recall (ensuring prompt response to a call), alternative behaviors that reduce barking and jumping, and effective Potty Training. I aim to impart valuable knowledge about training, so after working with me, you can apply the skills to train any future dogs you may have without requiring another trainer's help.
Unlike other trainers, I provide 24/7 support to my clients so you can contact me any time if you have questions or concerns that cannot wait for the next session. Normally, sessions are conducted with a week's interval, but exceptions can be made in case of emergencies.

Working with Karina has been an incredible experience. Despite our demanding schedules, scheduling training sessions has posed no issue whatsoever. We're in the process of unlearning previously acquired poor training methods, and Karina has been exceptional at explaining the benefits of alternate methods while guiding us in retraining our older dog alongside our new puppy. Her classes are not timed, and instead are tailored to ensuring comprehensive understanding for both dogs and owners. Despite being unable to meet in person, Karin did a remarkable job of clarifying the steps involved in potty training my dog. She was patient with me and dutifully responded to all my inquiries. Additionally, she reassured me that I could reach out anytime through calling or texting for further assistance. While she does expect remuneration for her services, her enthusiasm for aiding pet owners implies a true passion for her work. Admirable!

Karin was amazing! The online session for potty training was extremely beneficial and exactly what we needed. After adopting our puppy, my spouse and I were keen to pad train him. Karin's talk was filled with valuable information, insights, and personal stories that helped us comprehend the fundamentals of pad training a puppy successfully. Although we had searched for a lot of information on the internet, Karin's presentation was superior to anything we encountered online. I heartily recommend her training.
