The only positive thing I can say is that my lock was fixed on the same day I requested it. However, the experience was less than satisfactory. The initial phone inquiry indicated that services start at $59, but a more accurate quote would require an in-person evaluation. When the locksmith arrived, they quoted me $117 to fix the deadbolt on my door by cutting it open. I explicitly verified that this would solve the issue, and the locksmith confirmed it.
During the repair, sparking and smoke triggered the smoke alarm, which the locksmith failed to warn me about. I had to turn off the alarm, open windows and doors to air out the aftermath, and was left with a missing bolt in my front door. The locksmith then attempted to charge me $175 to fix the bolt, contradicting their original quote. After a prolonged discussion, the problem was resolved, but I do not plan to use this company again. Though we remained calm and civil throughout, neither of us walked away happy.
