Hello! I'm Tommy Streat, a guitar instructor in Fairfax and Arlington County of Virginia. I have more than 20 years of experience playing guitar and specialize in teaching beginners acoustic and electric guitar. My aim is to guide you in comprehending the mechanisms of the music you adore. This will enable you to learn any music you desire independently.My lessons concentrate on essential techniques such as using a pick, tuning by ear, basic chords, western music theory, learning to solo or improvise, playing by ear, and songs of your liking.

Tommy is an exceptional guitarist! It's a pity that we don't reside in close proximity anymore. We collaborated on music for a considerable amount of time. Although I didn't receive any official coaching or instructions, Tommy religiously attended lessons. He consistently shared his expertise with me, eagerly revealing what he had learned.
