I received nine bids for demolition and removal of a large pigeon coop, measuring 32’ by 7’ by 8’. This job also required the hauling away of four rooms of backyard carpeting and other miscellaneous debris. Out of the nine bids, I received and reviewed only five, ultimately selecting Ace Demolition for three reasons. Firstly, Eric arrived early to survey and provide both verbal and written bids for the job. Secondly, his bid was reasonable, and thirdly, he possessed a contractor’s license, which some other bidders did not. After confirming that Ace Demolition had a valid license with the California State Licensing Board, I awarded the job to them. Eric scheduled the job for a few days later, starting at 7:30 AM on a Tuesday. On the day of the job, Jacob, Eric’s father, arrived half an hour before starting time to review the job’s specifications. A little while later, two workers, Jessie and Ralph, showed up and started the job. Within an hour and a half, two additional workers arrived, whose names I did not get. All four workers handled the job with a professional attitude and completed it successfully by around 11:45 AM. Overall, I was completely satisfied with the job and strongly recommend Ace Demolition for anyone in need of a job well executed, completed on time, and conducted by licensed professionals at a reasonable rate.
