Death due to unwanted behavioral issues is the number one cause of healthy dogs being euthanized. For the past 26 years, my work has revolved around keeping dogs with their families. Most dogs are surrendered to shelters or rescue organizations because of their behavioral issues, many of which can be corrected with the proper attention and training. Through my work with organizations like the SPCA of Dallas, Texas, and breed rescue groups such as the NC Boxer Rescue and Alaskan Malamute Assistance League, I have been able to save many good dogs in bad situations from being surrendered or euthanized. This experience has inspired me to focus my efforts on family dogs, from socializing puppies to training them for service work and everything in between. I am committed to keeping dogs and their families together, no matter what challenges may arise.
