Need an Inspection and Estimate? Wet Basement Services, a division of Greenwood International, is dedicated to addressing wet basement and home mold issues. In 1983, owner Jerzy Radka set out on a personal mission to raise awareness of the dangers of mold and educate families on the importance of dealing with it before it leads to serious health consequences. This led him to create EWA, a PERMANENT mold-control system.

Wet Basement Services not only stops water problems but also addresses the real threat posed by uncontrolled water problems: mold and decay. Jerzy’s passion for permanent mold control has led him to offer a variety of educational materials on the WBS website, as well as FREE emergency water advice. With a master’s degree in engineering and years of experience, Jerzy is uniquely qualified to help families avoid mold-related health tragedies.

Wet Basement Services provided me with an excellent service. Although I didn't need assistance with a wet basement, my garage would flood during heavy rainfall. The team was able to accurately identify the issue and take appropriate action to prevent future floods by re-routing the gutter which was too near my house. Following the repairs, my garage has remained dry through a number of heavy rainfalls. The service men were not only skilled, but also a pleasure to interact with. In 2014, I received a recommendation for Greenwood LLC from a neighbor for repairs to my 1910 home with a cinder block foundation. Despite assurances from the previous company that installed my sump pump that they would address any water damage, I was left with unresolved issues. Michal, from Greenwood LLC, assessed the situation and provided a clear plan for the necessary repairs. The project required removing the basement stairs and opening up the wall, revealing a significant amount of fill dirt covered only by a vapor barrier. A trench was dug and connected to the sump line, with a concrete block half wall constructed for added protection. The work was carried out in a professional manner and all of my questions were answered. The final outcome exceeded my expectations, with no more leaks or water damage. I strongly recommend this company for any related repair needs.
