D&T Stage

D&T Stage was founded in 2020 by myself and my son, with a focus on providing technical assistance to small theater groups. Our services include audio, wireless microphones, lighting, and special effects. Our approach is to treat each show as if it were our own, ensuring that every production looks and sounds great.

We have experience in providing wireless lapel microphones, audio, lighting, and special effects for theatrical productions, as well as audio for indoor and outdoor dance recitals. Furthermore, we can set up speakers and microphones for any type of event.

Our passion for theater stems from our involvement in a school play a few years ago. As we learned the ropes of producing a production, we discovered the importance of being able to hear the actors on stage. We purchased wireless microphones, borrowed mixers and cabling, and put on a successful show. Since then, Dan has volunteered his audio expertise to two Southington elementary schools, and Tim has become proficient in DMX lighting controls and lighting design.

We have also built an inventory of special effects, including snow and dry-ice fog machines, to enhance the production value of any show. Despite working on a tight budget, we strive to provide quality technical assistance at an affordable price.
