With years of experience, I have perfected my techniques to help drummers learn faster and better. My broad background spans across various styles of music, including commercial rock, funk, bop, swing, country, blues, Latin, African, and Reggae. I am also familiar with marching bands and teach from this unique perspective. As a musician, I believe playing anything is possible, especially for drummers. Groove is all about style, and authenticity comes from blending various elements of different genres. For almost two decades, I taught drums in various schools, and I am equipped to teach students of all ages, from beginners to advanced levels. Learning to read music is essential, but I also focus on developing my students' ears to create a balance.
What I enjoy most about teaching is seeing my students grow and become monster drummers, forming their own bands. Music is not just a passion; it is a lifeline. I believe that studying music is an effective way to develop the mind and enrich their lives in countless ways for as long as they live.

Throughout middle school, our child had the pleasure of taking lessons with Ed. This was an incredible experience as Ed motivated our child to pursue his passion for drumming through hard work and a continued sense of curiosity.
