After scheduling a plumber through the service, they arrived later in the day and charged a $98 service fee. The plumber assessed the issue, which was a loose shower handle, and provided an estimate of $600-$2,600 to fix the problem. I consulted with my spouse and we both agreed that the estimate was exorbitant for such a simple task, opting to pay the service fee and send the crew away. Shortly thereafter, I was able to fix the problem myself in under 10 minutes by tightening a single screw. In retrospect, it seems unreasonable that the plumber did not attempt this simple solution and instead quoted such a high fee. I am disappointed in the lack of professionalism and honesty demonstrated by this plumbing service, and I would caution others to avoid using their services in the future.
