About
Looking forward to the start of the May-Oct home pool swim season and I'm ready to help your child learn to swim! Don't miss out on securing a spot with Pinellas County's busiest swim teacher. It's important to make your child's swimming experience positive and enjoyable, so trust your child(ren) in the hands of an experienced and honored swim teacher (father of four).Teaching children of all ages (toddlers to teens), I can come to your home, apartment, condo, or residential community pool to get your child comfortable in the water and have fun while learning. Unfortunately, the city pools only allow their own teachers, even during public open recreation swim times, so let's make the most of your pool at home.
As a national award-winning swimming teacher, I have the experience and skills to provide expert guidance to your child. I'm also fully vaccinated and double boosted for COVID for added safety.
With many years of experience, I've seen and solved any problem that may come up. Don't waste time or money with pushy instructors who can't make it fun. During the short summer home pool swim season, let's get swimming in no time!
Please note that while I'm willing to travel from St. Pete to Innisbrook-Ridgemoor, I don't service other counties farther north, or Tampa or Bradenton-Sarasota.

My condominium's pool was graced by the presence of Mr. Steve, who generously imparted his invaluable knowledge of safe swimming practices to my beloved grandson. In addition to his impressive years of experience, Mr. Steve's boundless charm and adept use of vivid imagery established him as one of the finest coaches I have had the pleasure of meeting - and I've met quite a few in my time! My grandson, Rizzo, left with a comprehensive understanding of all necessary swimming skills. Mr. Steve even solyed a car issue early on in the day to ensure that he could arrive promptly for the lesson - a testament to his incredible diligence and unyielding commitment to his work. On top of all that, he has a gift for connecting with children. It's a shame that my grandson couldn't stay longer to receive more guidance from him. His above-and-beyond efforts merit a rating of 11 out of 10, or an enthusiastic A+++!

This summer, Mr. Steve imparted swimming lessons to our three sons aged 5, 4, and 3, and we have been absolutely thrilled with the outcome! He exhibits traits akin to Mr. Rogers, exhibiting an affable persona, along with technical expertise to instill self-assurance amongst his students, thus resulting in a gratifying and stimulating learning experience. Our boys immensely anticipate his lessons, and he handles them with utmost love and respect, while being conscious of their individual potential and interests. I wholeheartedly recommend him.

My daughter's confidence as a swimmer has greatly improved with Steve's incredible help. In just a few lessons, she has gone from being hesitant and sitting on the pool steps to happily swimming across the pool and even in the deep end with supervision. Steve's ability to push kids to overcome their fears while respecting their boundaries is excellent. I highly recommend him because he is cost-effective compared to the expensive swim school I enrolled in last year. Plus, his lessons are longer, and we don't have to spend time driving! 😊👍🏼
