Chiefs Concrete

The driveway and walk-way were well cleaned and sealed by Mr. Nisa, and his job was exceptional.

Our driveway was demoed and replaced, and small retaining walls and lighting were added by Chiefs. To ensure they had unfettered access, we vacated the premises during their work. However, my wife had reservations about not being able to supervise more closely, and in hindsight, her concerns were valid. Pros: Initially, Chiefs were easy to work with. The updates and progress photos received were plentiful, and they completed the job in a fairly swift manner. Cons: The finishing and clean up left a lot to be desired. It seemed like Chiefs wanted to get paid before Christmas and rushed to complete the work. Afterward, they never returned to finish. We were forced to hire another crew to handle tasks that Chiefs neglected, such as clearing construction debris, texturing, drainage repairs, and laying concrete where Chiefs had skipped. Chiefs even added a design to the walls without our approval, which had to be redone. Overall, the project started out great, and we were happy with our new driveway, but then it abruptly turned sour. We had to spend nearly $15k to rectify the work Chiefs did not complete or did poorly.

There is an abundance of work available, making it challenging to locate individuals open to smaller jobs. However, Joshua, a representative from Chiefs, visited the Danville property, extended a competitive rate, and finished the task earlier than anticipated. The quality of his work was superb, and he exhibited a high level of professionalism. I wholeheartedly recommend Chiefs for any future concrete work.
