About
As a former competitive swimmer throughout High School and College, and now a Masters Swimmer, I have experience teaching and coaching all age groups - from young beginners (5+) to Adults. I hold the titles of State and National Champion, as well as a Relay World Record Holder. However, the most fulfilling aspect of teaching is seeing the enthusiasm with which new students approach swimming. I understand the anxiety that can come with adults learning to swim, and 75% of my clients fall into this category.
Swimming is an exceptional form of exercise, as it engages the entire body against the resistance of the water. It can:
1. Help maintain cardiovascular fitness while reducing stress
2. Improve endurance, muscle strength, and weight management
3. Tone muscles and build strength
4. Offer a full-body workout, utilizing almost all muscles in the body
In addition, swimming can have other benefits:
1. Promote relaxation and serenity
2. Alleviate stress and anxiety
3. Improve balance, coordination, and posture
4. Enhance flexibility
5. Provide low-impact therapy for some injuries and medical conditions
6. Be a refreshing way to cool off during hot weather
7. Be accessible in various locations, such as swimming pools, beaches, and rivers.
Swimming can be used throughout one's entire life to maintain physical fitness, health, and water safety. Additionally, it can also be a channel for competitive sport, regardless of age.

I highly recommend Joe as an excellent instructor. He possesses extensive knowledge and immense patience regarding swimming. Being an adult beginner, I struggled with water immersion anxiety. But, Joe's guidance helped me float and learn efficient front strokes, enabling me to travel the entire length of the pool, an accomplishment I thought was beyond my abilities. His lessons have allowed me to build a strong foundation, and I am eager to continue learning and advancing my skills. Without hesitation, I would suggest him to anyone seeking swimming lessons.

Joe excels as a swim instructor, particularly when it involves teaching an adult beginner like myself.
