I would follow this company to Antarctica if given the chance. Having lived in NYC my entire life, I have only encountered slumlords and horrendous management firms. I never imagined a day where my property manager and the entire company would genuinely care for me. Moving into an REM building has been a life-changing experience for me.

There are countless positive things that I could say about this company. Although I grew up in upstate New York, my move to the city was made easier by reaching out to this company to help me find an apartment. Their fantastic reviews encouraged me to take a chance, and I'm so glad that I did. Before coming to the city, I had heard many horror stories about the big apple and the existence of slumlords and scam artists amongst management companies. However, my experience with this management company has proven all of these theories wrong. Their attention to detail and commitment to their tenants make me feel comfortable and secure. My building is stunning, with an excellent superintendent called Drew, an exceptional manager named Shpresa (of whom there are two), and an impressive president called Rick. I have never met an owner of a company, especially one with the level of respect and recognition that R.E.M. possesses, who is as humble and kind as Rick. He takes time to get to know each tenant individually and remembers us all personally. I have never felt so valued and appreciated by a company- let alone a property management company- in my life. All of the negative stories I heard about NYC and property management are far from the truth, thanks to this management company. I choose to live only in their managed buildings from now on.

My experience with REM has been the best among all property management companies. It's hard to express how amazing they are. The staff is friendly and well-informed. They promptly return calls and provide insightful information. I have decided to only reside in buildings that are managed by REM, as they are unparalleled.
