About
As a seasoned music educator with 30 years of experience, I offer engaging and gratifying music instruction to students ranging from preschool to age 17. My extensive teaching background includes working in schools, churches, and my very own private studio where I offer lessons in Piano, Voice, Guitar, Songwriting, Performance Skills, and more. Believing wholeheartedly in each of my students' musical potential, I strive to guide and empower them towards achieving excellence while enjoying the learning process. My lessons are tailored to meet each student's individual needs and interests, ensuring that they are both challenging and entertaining. Throughout the year, students have the opportunity to participate in several recitals, talent shows, and school/church events, honing their musical talents while discovering the joys of sharing their music with others. I make certain that all of my students learn to read music and gain a thorough understanding of music theory. Additionally, we delve into composer history and music appreciation. My teaching style has proven to be a fun and rewarding experience for students, resulting in increased creativity, a deeper love for music, and enhanced scholastic achievement.

Lela undoubtedly tops the list of the finest piano teachers I've ever had. It has been an absolute delight to learn piano from her for half a year. She is a teacher who is patient, compassionate, and knowledgeable.
