“Ready Rod” or Rodrick Jones is a renowned lead guitarist hailing from Blytheville, AR, who gained recognition as a prodigy at an early age. Odale Jones - his father, who played with the legendary blues guitarist, Albert King in the 80s, remains his biggest influence. Rodrick's distinctive style boasts of his soulful and bluesy sound that has earned him a reputation as a gifted musician. For over 20 years, he has played professionally with various artists and has shared the stage with notable names such as the Grammy-nominated Canton Spirituals, The Caravans, VaShawn Mitchell, El Debarge, Keith Sweat, RL (Next), and more. Currently, Rodrick is working on producing a new project in the studio. In addition, he is passionate about sharing his gift with others by teaching, doing studio work and performing live.
