Receive expert voice training from experienced dramatic tenor, Thomas Clark, an Estill Voice Certified Master Voice Teacher with over 40 years of singing and teaching experience. Utilizing the scientific, anatomy-based Estill Voice model, we will practice exercises that target every structure utilized in singing. My personal approach stems from performing major roles on stage and working extensively with my teacher, Peter Gregg, who was once the personal coach and accompanist to the legendary Italian dramatic tenor, Mario del Monaco. My unique method of Resonance Shaping involves coordinating and alternating contractions on the pharyngeal wall to shape phrases, resulting in a resonance shift from mouthy to pharyngeal, which produces sustaining resonance and is the hallmark of professional sound. By helping singers identify this resonance and comprehend advanced vocal techniques, I am able to completely transform my students into professional-level performers. My voice lessons are held via Skype at a rate of $80 per hour lesson.
