David Sewell Guitar Lessons

Greetings, I am Dr. David Sewell, the head of the Guitar Department at Grand Canyon University. My passion for teaching guitar spans almost two decades, beginning during my high school years where I quickly discovered my life-long calling. As a versatile instructor, I specialize in a broad range of genres, including but not limited to classical guitar, rock, blues, jazz, heavy metal, popular music, country, and fusion--providing lessons to students of all levels and ages, from beginners to advanced players.

Not only do I have experience in teaching guitar, but I also hold degrees in music, including a Doctor of Musical Arts in classical guitar performance from Arizona State University and a Master's degree in classical guitar performance from the University of Louisiana. Allow me to assist you on your own guitar journey with the wealth of knowledge I've attained throughout my years of teaching and performing.
