About
Greetings! My name is Art and I am certain that I can assist you in achieving your guitar and musical goals with an enjoyable and productive approach. One of the most rewarding activities one can indulge in is learning a musical instrument and I would be delighted to impart my 20+ years of experience with you.Hailing from Texas, I am presently residing, teaching, and performing in the Dallas area. After completing Musicians Institute's G.I.T. program, I have taught numerous students, ranging from novices to experts in every possible teaching environment. My musical expertise covers various genres of music ranging from Funk, Fingerstyle, Metal to almost everything imaginable. I have played in a number of rock bands, released various albums, and performed in over 13 European countries, Australia, and all around America.
My teaching methodology is laid-back and focuses primarily on the rudiments of music such as Technique, Ear Training, and Theory. However, much of our time will be devoted to analyzing riffs and tunes by your favorite artists and bands.
