I'm a father of two lovely girls, married to an amazing partner, and have training and experience in jazz, pop, country, electronic music, and contemporary Christian. As a Detroit-schooled musician, I'm passionate about sharing my knowledge and skills with you. Unlike others who hastily moved online due to the pandemic, I've been providing quality online instruction for years using state-of-the-art technology.

I collaborated with Pete for around three months, during which he assisted me in acquiring skills to enhance my ability to improvise songs. As a retired senior, I had been teaching myself to play the piano for approximately seven years, with some intermittent tutoring. However, my repertoire had become stale and monotonous, as I was mostly reliant on the lead sheet. Pete is amazing! I began receiving lessons from him slightly more than a year ago. Despite having no prior formal instruction, he taught me a rendition of Ben Folds' "The Luckiest" that I played for my spouse on our wedding day only a few months following. He collaborates with you to ensure that you are familiar with the fundamentals while still keeping the experience enjoyable.
