About
Greetings! I hold a Masters in Composition from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and have spent nearly eight years teaching piano and composition in various locations throughout the Bay Area. Currently, I reside in the Sunset District of San Francisco. I welcome students of all ages and skill levels, and employ a range of proven techniques coupled with games and interactive activities to make each lesson enjoyable and memorable. My studio is designed to provide a comfortable and conducive learning environment.In piano instruction, I utilize the Faber Piano Adventures approach, which I find engaging and well-paced. For students who are beginners or at an early intermediate level in music theory, I use Sandy Feldstein's "Practical Theory." However, for advanced theory, I recommend texts based on each student's abilities.
